CONTEMPORARY WITH MIŇO

Miňo focuses primarily on contemporary dance, while often combining different styles, techniques and sources of inspiration in his work. His classes are dynamic and built around pushing boundaries – both his own and those of the dancers in the room.

For him, dance can take many forms. Sometimes it tells a story, sometimes it is simply about joy and energy, and sometimes it does not need to take itself too seriously.

He is a soloist with the Slovak Dance Theatre, performing with the company in cities including New York, Toronto, Ottawa, Lisbon and Abu Dhabi. He has also danced in a number of Slovak and Czech productions and works as a choreographer on new theatre projects and performances.
